New beginnings in the studio today. Sketching out and just having fun with some new figurative pieces.
Dropped this painting, ‘Spring Light’ to @greenfinchshopticehurst today. What a glorious place full of arty delights. Ticehurst is a great place to visit on your summer staycation!
Building the layers in the studio this morning for this landscape commission.
Hello, just wanted to say thank you to all my followers and those who have recently started to follow me. I am Jude, I live in rural Kent in the UK working as a painter. Last Monday I moved into a new studio at Swinford on the Godinton House estate. I mainly work in oils painting Stilllife, figures and landscapes. I love anything vintage and my most recent stilllife work is focused on memories inspired by my collection of vintage crockery.
I love the first layers of a painting. This is a small section of a portrait commission I am working on which is inspired by Klimt.
Moved into my new studio yesterday. Just getting set up and a little bit more organised. It so beautiful and peaceful here so looking forward to getting started on new paintings. Thanks to Jane, Evie and Ben fellow artists and craftsmen for making me so welcome.
